ABOUT
KARIN TRACY
Karin Tracy, designer and founder of Karin Tracy
Design, has several years of experience designing and developing
first-rate Web sites for a wide range of clients. She began her
career primarily in print design as the lead print designer for
The Hunter Group. She spent time working with the award-winning
graphic design boutique, Particle before moving onto a larger full-service
Web development firm, iDev. Her first project for iDev was designing
Al Gore’s Campaign 2000 Web site. Karin acted as lead designer
for several exciting projects, including Web sites for the Smithsonian,
Fannie Mae, the American Institute of Architects, Playbill and Stuart
Weitzman.
Karin Tracy Design was incorporated in early 2002 and has forged
several alliances with other local boutiques. Karin feels that these
partnerships enable her to provide an extremely high quality product
without the overhead that larger firms bring to the job.
Karin received a BFA (Summa Cum Laude) in Graphic Design from the
American College in London. She is also the recipient of several
industry awards, including a Gold medal from the Art Directors Club
of Metropolitan D.C. for her design of HonestTea.com and several
notable mentions in Print Magazine’s Annual Regional Design
Issue.
